This project creates a cozy & inviting farmhouse for a couple’s forever home on a large rural lot. The project connects an existing house and detached garage with a large vertical structure that is expressed as a modern take on a silo. The current home is gutted & upgraded with a welcoming front porch and large screened-in back porch, new dormers, chimney, windows, roof and siding, and new framing, plumbing, & electrical throughout.
