Lafayette Duplex

Baseline Design designed a new duplex in Lafayette's Old Town Residential zone. Each unit is two stories over a basement, with a combined square footage of approximately 5,000 square feet. A primary design goal was to concentrate on building massing near the center of the lot and step down to achieve appropriate scale at the street. Special attention was given to design features highlighted in the historic neighborhood's design guidelines, including porches, building forms, and roof lines. Attention to detail and materials in these elements give the welcoming and traditional street presence a subtly contemporary feel.

The project is in process. The building permit is finally approved! Construction is a go!
